Church Life

The goal of the Church Life Committee is to organize opportunities for intergenerational fellowship among our church family.

Come celebrate the end of summer with your friends and church family at the Annual Munsey Family Picnic!  Join us at Rotary Park for an afternoon of music, worship, games and fellowship, topped off with an old-fashioned covered dish supper.  This year’s Picnic will be in August, details to come.  The games will begin at 4:00 pm, and dinner will start at 5:30 pm.

There will be fun and games for everyone!  For the kids, we will have games like beanbag toss, duck pond, dart gun targets with prizes.  There will also be several ”sporting” contests, including volleyball, horseshoes, and more! Come join in the fun!

This year’s baking contest will be all about cupcakes!  Awards will be given to the “Best Tasting” and the “Best Decoration" designs for both Youth and Adult Contests!  Also, a new category "Best Heart Healthy Dessert". The Munsey staff will serve as judges.  You might just win a gift card and a ribbon to display all year long!

Bring a main dish and a side dish or dessert to share.  Tea, drinks, paper goods and utensils will be provided.  You may also want to bring a folding chair to sit in the shade and catch up with other Munsey friends.

At last year’s picnic, we had a great afternoon of music, games, and fellowship, and maybe a little too much to eat.  It was a wonderful day for one-on-one fellowship and old-fashioned fun shared across generations.  It reminded us that we are a part of the body of Christ and allowed us to reconnect with each other.  We look forward to seeing you there!
